Job Summary

This job is not hourly and is paid per repair. it is on call and we pay on repairs.We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile devices, operating systems, and hardware components. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various smartphones and tablets, including Android and iOS devices, ensuring high-quality service for our customers. The technician will also assist with troubleshooting software issues and performing hardware repairs using hand tools and schematics. A background in retail sales is a plus, as the role may involve customer interactions and product recommendations. Duties

- Diagnose and repair mobile devices, including smartphones and tablets, with a focus on Android and iOS platforms
- Use schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to identify hardware or software issues
- Perform repairs such as screen replacements, battery swaps, port repairs, and internal component fixes
- Troubleshoot software problems related to operating systems like macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS
- Utilize hand tools effectively for delicate repairs on small electronic components




- Test repaired devices to ensure proper functionality before returning them to customers
- Assist customers with device troubleshooting and provide recommendations for upgrades or accessories
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency during repairs

Qualifications

- Proven experience repairing mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets
- Knowledge of Android, iOS, macOS, Windows operating systems, and related software troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with computer hardware components and analysis skills for diagnosing complex issues
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for precise repairs
- Proficiency in using hand tools specific to electronic repairs
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Retail sales experience is advantageous for engaging with customers effectively
- Good communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
