APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS;

- Must be an Early Childhood Educator - ECE
- MUST have: Infant / Preschool / School Age
- Pre-K Orientation Course - or acceptance letter into the program is mandatory for these positions to work all sites - Contact AECENL
- AECENL Certification required.
- It must be clearly shown in your resume and COVER LETTER that you are an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) and have AECENL Certification, applicants not providing this will be rejected.
- 2 Day First Aid - mandatory - can not be expired
- A *RECENT* satisfactory CRC and VSC will be required upon hire before working on the floor - we do not accept anything over a week old once hired.

This job AD is for the Marina Redmond Center however, the YMCA of Western NL has multiple sites and our staff must be able to work at all of them if needed.

Our programs support families and foster the healthy growth and development of children. Our programs help children build self-confidence, learn healthy behaviors, and develop strong values. Based on the YMCA Playing to Learn emergent curriculum our child care program is licensed by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador. We are seeking Early Childhood Educators to join our Child Care team.

Job Requirements

- Early Childhood Education Certificate, Diploma or Degree - AECENL certified
- MUST have: Infant / Pre-School / School Age
- AECENL Pre-school orientation will be required to have or be registered to take in the next intake through AECENL.
- Experience - 1 to 2 years




- Current Standard 2 day First Aid
- Acceptable Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sectors Check (new checks will be obtained upon hire with the YMCA)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.06-$35.09 per hour
