Royal Ashburn Golf Club is one of Durham Region's premier golf, wedding, and event venues. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Attendant to help keep our property clean, safe, and event-ready.

What You'll Do

As our Building Maintenance Attendant, you'll play an important role in the daily operations of the club by ensuring our facilities are prepared for guests and maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities include:

- Opening and closing the clubhouse and securing the building
- Setting up banquet rooms and meeting spaces according to event floor plans
- Taking down and resetting rooms after weddings, tournaments, meetings, and special events
- Cleaning and sanitizing public washrooms throughout the day
- Restocking washroom supplies and maintaining cleanliness of public areas
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and keeping the clubhouse clean and presentable
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins
- Completing minor maintenance repairs as needed
- Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Assisting with moving tables, chairs, staging, and event equipment
- Assisting with seasonal outdoor maintenance, including snow removal, salting walkways, and general property upkeep
- Supporting other departments when needed to ensure exceptional guest experiences

What We're Looking For





- Previous building maintenance, janitorial, hospitality, or facilities experience is considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver's license is an asset

Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and carrying (up to 50 lbs.)
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
