Subzi Mandi Cash & Carry is hiring two experienced Meat Cutters/Butchers for our meat department at 9825 Chinguacousy Road, Brampton, ON L6X 0V1.

Responsibilities:

Cut, trim, debone, portion and prepare meat according to customer orders and store standards

Operate meat-cutting equipment, knives, slicers and grinders safely

Prepare display cases and keep products properly labelled, rotated and refrigerated

Assist customers and provide knowledgeable service regarding cuts and preparation

Maintain a clean and sanitary work area, tools and equipment

Follow food-safety, sanitation, workplace-safety and loss-prevention procedures

Receive, inspect and store meat products appropriately

Monitor inventory and minimize product waste

Requirements:

Previous commercial meat-cutting or butcher experience is required

Knowledge of meat cuts, trimming, deboning and portioning





Ability to safely use knives and meat-processing equipment

Ability to lift products and stand for extended periods in a refrigerated environment

Strong attention to quality, cleanliness and customer service

Food Handler Certificate is an asset

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
