Position Title: Teacher (Cantonese / Putonghua / Mathematics)

Position Summary:

Teach in appropriate subjects and classes at Mon Sheong’s Chinese School campuses; implement program and curricula to maximize students’ learning experience.

Main Duties:

- Teach the grade/level as assigned with the curriculum materials as a framework
- Engage students through interactive and culturally pedagogy
- Develop and implement lessons to meet diverse student needs while maintaining the core curriculum standards
- Attend teacher’s meeting, seminar and assist in school events
- Administer formative assessments, tests, and examinations to track student progress; maintain comprehensive academic and attendance records to ensure the timely generation and distribution of report cards
- Maintain thorough familiarity with emergency procedures and safety drills to ensure the continuous well-being and security of all students
- Assign homework, mark, feedback and return all work submitted by students within a week or two
- Maintain active and respectful communication with parents regarding student progress and developmental needs
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications:

- Teachers’ College Diploma or equivalent
- ECE Diploma is an asset




- With previous teaching experience
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital classroom tools preferred
- Good command of Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and supervisory skills;
- First Aid and CPR Certification is an asset

Working Hours:

- Part time hours from September to June; classes are to be held on Wednesday, Friday evenings and/or Saturday mornings.
