Job Overview
We are seeking reliable and skilled contractors to assist with concrete forming and flatwork for light commercial projects on a project-by-project basis in the Nakiska area. This is a flexible contract opportunity, ideal for experienced tradespersons who take pride in high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. Candidates must be committed to safety, quality craftsmanship, and teamwork. On site accommodation is provided for the duration of the project, along with two meals per day.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of concrete flatwork tasks, including formwork, placing & finishing
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and field level hazard assessments
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
- Assist with material handling to ensure smooth workflow in office
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timelines
Qualifications
- Proven experience with concrete forming and flatwork (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of concrete techniques, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
