Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Counterbalance Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move, load, and organize materials within a fast-paced distribution environment. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to safety, and the ability to efficiently manage inventory through warehouse management systems. Duties

- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload, and transport materials across the warehouse.
- Perform accurate order picking and inventory management using warehouse management systems.
- Conduct routine inspections of forklift equipment, including checking mechanical components and fluid levels.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Maintain a clean and organized work setting by adhering to safety protocols and housekeeping standards.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely processing of orders and efficient warehouse flow.
- Use basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during operations.

Experience

- Prior experience operating forklifts, especially counterbalance models, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and order picking procedures.
- Mechanical knowledge beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Experience working with warehouse management systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills necessary for accurate inventory handling and order fulfillment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to forklift operation and warehouse safety standards is essential.

This role is vital in ensuring the seamless movement of goods within the warehouse, supporting overall operational efficiency while prioritizing safety at all times.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
