Penfor Construction offers “turn-key” General Contracting for the construction of agricultural, multi-family and commercial facilities. Our team will design, estimate and oversee complete construction, ensuring that the project is completed on time and on budget.

We are currently looking for a full-time, year-round Assistant Site Supervisor to oversee our current and up-coming Agricultural projects. This position will be primarily based out of our Blumenort, MB head office focusing on SE Manitoba and surrounding areas.

Duties

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of power and heating systems and other equipment at sites
- Ensure safe working conditions on site; complete all safety and site documentation as required including filing accident reports and reporting on incidents
- Maintain the organization of the site ensuring supplies are placed where needed, garbage is removed, tripping hazards are removed, etc.
- Other duties as required

Skills

- 3-5 years’ experience in construction
- Ability to travel and work overtime
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)




- Strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
- Computer proficient with experience in MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong safety-first attitude with knowledge of required safety protocols on a construction site
