Brandt is currently seeking a Shipper/Receiver - Shack for our Lethbridge Construction and Forestry location. This position is responsible for assisting the parts department with the general shipping and receiving of goods.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work in teams to load trucks and sea containers with finished goods
- Inspect crates and bundles for damage during the loading process
- Assist in counting of inventory as required
- Keep area clean and in order at all times
- Load machines on and off trailers, large and small material handling etc.
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment from excavators, wheel loaders to small forklifts
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
- Must be capable of working under minimum supervision
- Must be physically fit to manually handle all goods, steel and products as required
- Must have good communication skills and good attendance
- Must have the ability to perform work related duties outside in a protected and competent manner in adverse conditions, extreme heat/cold/ slippery conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
