We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves handling chemical products, operating forklifts, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, follows safety procedures, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely handle, store, and transport chemical products in accordance with WHMIS and company safety standards
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move materials and inventory
- Prepare, package, and label shipments accurately for outgoing orders
- Receive incoming shipments and verify contents against documentation
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
- Inspect containers and materials for damage or leaks and report any concerns immediately
- Follow proper procedures for hazardous material handling and disposal
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of WHMIS and chemical handling procedures is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
