We are currently looking for a Custodian to be responsible for cleaning and organizing our busy manufacturing and service facility’s shop floor. This role will be responsible for ensuring our team setting is clean, safe, and organized for maximum efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

- Cleaning building floors; sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing
- Gathering and disposing of trash
- Servicing and replenishing supplies of restrooms
- Following procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, ensuring proper use to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Organizing and assisting Shipping & Receiving; putting away materials, parts, tools, and distributing materials to defined locations or personnel.
- Monitor building security and safety by performing such tasks as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are not created
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks
- Mow and trim lawns and shrubbery, using mowers and hand and power trimmers, and clear debris from grounds
- Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers,



and snow shovels, and spread snow melting chemicals
- Notify management concerning needs for repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Other duties as assigned

Skills:

- Physical demands of bending, crouching, reaching, and use of stairs and step ladders
- Moving stock with pallet jack, forklifts, hand trucks, and dollies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment
- Count accurately and write/record legibly
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task with effective time management skills

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday: 7:00am - 4:00pm
