Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Shop Hand with basic experience using tools to join our small cabinetry manufacturing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in woodworking, cabinetry, and construction-related tasks within a shop and installation environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn new skills and open to direction, be detail-oriented, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks to support our skilled craftsmen and women in producing high-quality cabinetry and custom woodwork. We are a small team and require a shop hand willing and eager to assist in all aspects of our manufacturing process.

Duties

- Assist with the fabrication and assembly of cabinets and related wood products using hand tools and power tools
- Ability to measure, cut, and finish projects according to schematics and blueprints
- Machine parts for assembly, including sanding, drilling, and fitting components
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Help with loading and unloading materials and finished products
- Follow safety protocols at all times during shop operations
- Assist with installation of cabinetry or fixtures on-site as needed





Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of woodworking, carpentry, or construction is preferred but not required; willingness to learn and take direction is essential
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and following project plans is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks in a shop environment
- A positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability
