I'm working with a well-established and highly active developer that is continuing to expand itsmercial portfolio across North America.They are looking to add a Senior Development Manager who can take ownership of projects from the front end and drive them through planning, design, due diligence, budgeting, and into construction.This is not a land-focused role.

The ideal candidate will have strong
vertical development experience
and understand what it takes to bring a large scale project from concept to a construction-ready state.Key responsibilities include:

- Managing consultants, architects, engineers, and other design partners
- Leading due diligence activities and identifying project risks early
- Maintaining and updating project pro formas, budgets, schedules, and project financials
- Supporting pricing exercises and ensuring projects aremercially viable
- Advancing projects through design development, approvals, and pre-construction planning




- Creating detailed project plans and documentation so projects can be seamlessly transitioned to construction and operations teams
- Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to keep projects moving forward
What I'm looking for:
- Experience managing vertical development projects (can bemercial, warehouses, multifamily, etc)
- Strong understanding of development, design, and construction processes
- Ability to work effectively with consultants, engineers, architects, and contractors
- Exceptionalmunication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organized, detailed, and proactive approach to projects
