Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling transactions, and supporting overall restaurant operations to deliver a memorable dining experience.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas in compliance with sanitation standards.




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables during busy periods without compromising quality of service.
- Provide guest services by addressing questions, special requests, or concerns promptly and professionally.

Experience

- Prior food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Solid customer service skills with the ability to engage guests courteously and professionally.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen support roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced workplace.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours.
