Summary

We are seeking a Technician to join our dynamic team at Ocular Health Centre. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our ophthalmic services by assisting with patient care and ensuring smooth operations within our clinics.

Responsibilities

- Assist in patient examinations and procedures under the supervision of ophthalmologists.
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation using electronic medical records systems.
- Provide excellent customer service at the front desk, including scheduling appointments and answering inquiries.
- Support the optical department with sales and fitting of eyewear as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and office spaces.




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

- Experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care practices and medical terminology.
- Proficient in electronic medical records systems; familiarity with Epic is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team workplace.
- Customer service experience, particularly in retail or healthcare, is beneficial.
