Overview
Beausejour Guardian Pharmacy is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to lead our community pharmacy in Beausejour. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed pharmacist who wants to take on a leadership role in an established pharmacy with a strong patient focus.
The ideal candidate is an experienced community pharmacist with strong leadership, workflow, and clinical skills. You will oversee daily pharmacy operations, support staff performance, ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and qualified standards, and help deliver outstanding care to our patients.
This role is well suited to a pharmacist who values autonomy, accountability, patient relationships, and building a high-performing pharmacy team.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the pharmacy
- Oversee dispensary workflow to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality patient service
- Manage pharmacy staff, including training, scheduling, coaching, and performance support
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, provincial, and professional regulatory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and ensure proper documentation standards are followed
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, narcotic control, and loss prevention procedures
- Support safe and effective dispensing, prescription verification, and patient counselling
- Collaborate with prescribers and healthcare providers to support optimal patient care
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow, service quality, and operational performance
- Support the delivery and growth of pharmacy clinical services where applicable
- Foster a professional, patient-centered, and team-oriented work environment
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba
- Minimum 2 years of community pharmacy experience preferred
- Previous pharmacy manager or leadership experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of community pharmacy workflow, compliance, and patient care standards
- Kroll experience preferred
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 45.0 per week
