Duties
- Perform professional haircuts, styling, and grooming services tailored to each client's preferences
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work area in accordance with health and safety standards
- Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and build lasting relationships
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques to deliver innovative styling options
- Assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barber or Stylist with a strong portfolio of work
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards within a salon environment
- Strong communication skills for effective client consultations and team collaboration
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally during service interactions
- Retail sales experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
- Front desk or administrative experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Professional appearance and positive attitude with a passion for the beauty industry
