Responsibilities:

- Support tax partners through the identification of tax planning opportunities and strategies in the firm’s wide-ranging client base
- Preparation of step planning memorandums and technical reports for clients and partners alike
- Assist with the mentoring of other team members with respect to tax
- Assist with performing the review of corporate and personal tax returns and tax projects

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree
- CPA designation




- CPA In-depth Tax Course or Master of Taxation degree are assets
- Ideally 4+ years of experience with 2+ years specializing in tax
- Ideally a good understanding of accounting
- Extensive knowledge of corporate, personal, partnership and trust tax legislation and compliance
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of Caseware, and TaxPrep
- Prior experience in corporate reorganizations, estate planning and various filings of tax elections (Section 85, CDA, etc.) is preferred

Pay: $80,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
