The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Mechanic Helper to join our team. No experience necessary! We will train. The mission of the role is to support the Fleet Maintenance Team by performing preventative maintenance, assisting with repairs, and continuously developing mechanical skills to maximize fleet uptime while demonstrating the company’s core values.
This position reports to the Maintenance Operations Manager.
We are located in Headingley, Manitoba. There is no bus service, so you must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Compensation: $18-25 per hour
What you’ll be doing:
- Tire changes
- Oil changes and preventative maintenance
- Assisting Senior Mechanics and learning the trade
- Picking up parts
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop
The skills you bring:

- Clean and organized
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- Safe use of hand and power tools
- Mechanical and shop experience an asset
