UNITY Fitness Harbourfront (joinunity.ca), a 45,000 sq. ft. fitness facility in the heart of the Sugar Wharf community in downtown Toronto, is recruiting a part-time Member Experience Representative. These are vacant positions

The Member Experience Representative is passionate about fitness and wellness, and is excited for the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on our members, as well as fellow staff.

You will be responsible for providing a stellar first -and lasting- impression from the front desk and maintaining the highest level of customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service: Providing service excellence to all clientele in person, over the phone, and electronically by processing membership charges and retail purchases, monitoring member check-ins, assisting members with questions and club feedback, and more.
- Administration: Supporting/completing all assigned administrative tasks when required, including stocking of our Grab ‘N’ Go nourishment station, keeping our lululemon retail area organized and presentable, processing membership holds and cancellations, class bookings and cancellations, and more.
- Marketing and Promotion: Participate, as required, in the marketing and promotion of the club at live events and/or via social media.




- UNITY Ambassador: Be fully knowledgeable on all aspects of the fitness centre, including programs, policies, classes, events, services, operations, etc.

Who We’re Looking For

- 2+ years of previous fitness industry experience in customer service.
- Reliable, professional, dependable, energetic, and friendly.
- Interested in health, fitness, and/or sports.
- Demonstrated experience in creating a sense of community within an organization.
- Advanced proficiency in membership databases including Mindbody, social media, Google Workspace considered an asset.

UNITY offers a Cycle studio, Group Ex studio, Hot Yoga/Pilates studio, a full-sized basketball/pickleball court, saltwater pool, cold plunge, strength floor, calisthenics zone and dedicated HIIT area.

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $21.63 per hour
