We are seeking a Payroll Administrator!

This position is off of rural road highway 7 please ensure if applying you have reliable car.

40 min outside Winnipeg between Stonewall and Teulon well travelled highway

Role Title: HR & Payroll Administrator
Role Type: Permanent
Pay: $25-30/hr (based on experience)
Location: Gunton, Manitoba

Overview

We are seeking a full time Human Resources & Payroll Administrator to join our team in Gunton, Manitoba. This role provides hands-on HR and payroll support to employees, supervisors, and management. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll administration, employee relations, confidential records management, and HR coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide HR support to management, supervisors, and employees, including employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Administer payroll processes and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, documentation, and HR files.
- Coordinate employee onboarding, disciplinary processes, terminations, and other HR-related procedures.
- Manage and coordinate employee group health benefits administration.
- Support HR policies, procedures,



and general administrative activities.
- Utilize Powerpay, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks to support payroll, reporting, and administrative functions.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information.
- Provide strong organizational support and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

- HR/Payroll certificate or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
- Experience with payroll administration and HR processes.
- Knowledge of Powerpay, Microsoft Office, and QuickBooks is required.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and handle confidential information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.
