Job Summary

Senior DevOps Specialist Key Skills & Responsibilities: Dynatrace Observability — Actively monitors cloud-native and serverless applications using Dynatrace dashboards, service-flow views, distributed tracing, and Davis AI for root cause analysis across Lambda, API Gateway, databases, and queues. Alert Tuning & Noise Reduction — Tuned Dynatrace alerts using symptom-based detection, anomaly baselines, and maintenance windows — significantly improving signal quality and reducing alert fatigue for on-call teams. OpenShift Administration — Manages OpenShift environments end-to-end including namespaces, routes, operators, RBAC/SCC policies, health probes, autoscaling, resource quotas, and production troubleshooting. Ansible Automation — Builds reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules integrated with CI/CD pipelines for server configuration, patching, certificate updates, middleware deployment, and controlled production rollbacks with idempotency checks. Operational Excellence & SRE Practice — Defined SLIs/SLOs covering availability, latency, error rate, and queue age; created runbooks and automated recovery workflows; managed change execution via ServiceNow; and maintained Confluence documentation for SOPs and implementation guides. Akamai & Cross-Team Collaboration — Participated in Akamai DNS, CDN, and edge security deployments while coordinating across DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams using Agile and ITIL practices. Administer OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms, including security, scaling, and troubleshooting. Develop Ansible automation for deployments, patching, configuration management, and operational tasks. Implement Dynatrace monitoring, alerting, observability, and root cause analysis. Define SLIs/SLOs, maintain runbooks, and drive SRE best practices. Manage production changes through ServiceNow and support operational excellence initiatives. Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams. Support Akamai CDN, DNS, and Edge Security solutions. Required Skills: OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible, Dynatrace, CI/CD, ServiceNow, Linux, SRE, Akamai, Agile, ITIL.
