Maintenance Technician

Premier Mining Products is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support equipment reliability and production uptime in a manufacturing environment.

As a key member of the Maintenance team, you will work alongside experienced technicians to support the performance and longevity of critical production equipment. This role offers hands-on exposure to modern manufacturing systems, along with the opportunity to develop strong technical skills in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Rate: $22.00 – $26.00/hour (based on experience)

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Assist in equipment tear-downs, inspections, and rebuilds
- Learn and support machinery alignment, leveling, and calibration




- Interpret basic technical drawings and maintenance documentation
- Support installation, commissioning, and relocation of equipment
- Respond to equipment issues and assist in minimising downtime
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO)
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering teams to improve equipment performance

Qualifications

Education & Certification

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in mechanical, industrial maintenance, or related field is an asset

Experience

- 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or mechanical work preferred.

Languages

- English required

Physical & Work Environment

- Manufacturing shop floor environment
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
