Job Title: Senior Data Scientist (AI & Machine Learning)
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Senior Data Scientist to join our growing team. In this role, you'll leverage advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to solve complex business problems and drive data-informed decision-making.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to build predictive models, uncover insights from large datasets, and develop AI solutions that create measurable business value. What You'll Do
- Develop, train, and deploy machine learning models to solve real-world business challenges.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
- Build predictive models, forecasting solutions, and statistical analyses to support strategic initiatives.
- Design and evaluate experiments, including A/B testing and hypothesis testing.
- Work with structured and unstructured data to improve business performance.
- Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines and optimize data quality.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights to business stakeholders.
- Monitor and optimize machine learning models in production.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where AI and analytics can improve business outcomes.
- Stay current with emerging trends in AI, machine learning, and data science.
What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Advanced Analytics.
- Solid proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and forecasting.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, or similar.
- Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, or similar ML frameworks.
- Experience with Databricks, Spark, or distributed computing.
- Knowledge of MLOps, model deployment, and CI/CD for machine learning.
- Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, or NLP.
- Experience in healthcare, financial services, retail, or another data-driven industry
