Packaging Associate Task Summary:
o prepare cartons as needed
o ID product, label and pack appropriately
o bag extruded parts at the end of production lines as required
o clean area when production lines are down
o work with line operator to ensure quality standards are met
o visually inspect, segregate and quarantine non-spec product for disposition
o report equipment malfunctions to the operator
o empty garbage bins and manage recycling area as required
o perform all other related assignments as directed by the Supervisor
o maintain medical/physical fitness to perform all the essential tasks
o able to lift 40lbs.
o ability to work rotating shifts is an asset but not a requirement
o must have the ability to work independently and as a team player
