- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
- Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions.
- Inspect running engines, perform road tests, and test automotive systems and components.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
- Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of tractor-trailer systems.
- Diagnose faults and confirm findings with the supervisor to determine whether the unit should be repaired or replaced.
- Test and adjust repaired systems according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
- Inform customers about the work completed and any future repair requirements.
Qualifications
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant mechanical experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
