Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of store management, and the ability to drive sales and customer satisfaction. The Manager will oversee daily store functions, manage staff, and ensure operational excellence across all departments.

Duties

- Lead and supervise store staff, including recruiting, training, and developing team members to achieve performance goals
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth functioning of sales, merchandising, and customer service activities
- Manage inventory purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising to optimize sales and profitability
- Handle cash handling procedures, POS transactions, and bookkeeping with accuracy and integrity
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract current customers and retain existing ones
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals, policies, and performance expectations
- Monitor sales performance and develop action plans to meet or exceed targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and oversee store financials through effective administrative practices

Experience

- Proven experience in retail management or store management roles with demonstrated success in sales growth and team supervision
- Strong background in sales management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and marketing techniques
- Excellent communication skills in both bilingual (preferred) or multilingual environments with proficiency in phone etiquette and customer service excellence
- Skilled in supervising staff through effective training & development programs; experienced in interviewing and hiring new employees
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management, supervising personnel across various departments
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of POS systems, retail software applications, and basic math skills for inventory control and financial reconciliation
