Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bring spaces to life through expert painting, decorating, and finishing techniques. Duties

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and power tools
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately interpret project specifications and design plans
- Perform restoration work on historic or damaged surfaces with precision and attention to detail
- Use rigging and scaffolding safely for elevated or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to safety protocols
- Operate hand tools and carpentry equipment for minor repairs or modifications before painting begins
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure project expectations are met or exceeded

Requirements

- Proven construction experience with a focus on painting, decorating,



or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of construction painting techniques for residential, commercial, and industrial settings
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions accurately
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, rigging equipment, and safety gear
- Experience with caulking for sealing gaps and preparing surfaces for finishing work
- Familiarity with schematics related to industrial or commercial painting projects
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines efficiently
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
- Customer service orientation with a professional attitude toward client satisfaction
