Job Overview

The Order Picker / Driver is a dual position. In this role you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, staging, and loading customer and retail store orders while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting the efficient operation of the warehouse. This role ensures products are prepared for shipment in a safe, accurate, and timely manner while maintaining the Company's quality and service standards.

As a secondary responsibility, the incumbent will operate a company vehicle to complete deliveries, transfers, and pickups between company locations, customers, and suppliers as operational requirements dictate. The successful candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and committed to providing excellent internal and external customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Order Picking & Warehouse Operations

- Pick customer and retail store orders accurately using pick lists, handheld scanners, or warehouse management systems.
- Verify product codes, quantities, lot numbers, and packaging before shipment.
- Pack, wrap, label, and stage orders to ensure products are protected during transportation.
- Prepare shipments in accordance with company quality standards and shipping requirements.
- Load and unload trucks safely using appropriate material handling equipment.
- Receive incoming inventory and verify shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Rotate inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO) principles where applicable.
- Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and quality concerns promptly.
- Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and annual physical inventories.
- Maintain warehouse organization by ensuring products are stored in designated locations.
- Keep warehouse aisles, workstations, docks, and storage areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Support shipping, receiving, bottling, production, and warehouse operations as required.
- Assist with other warehouse duties during peak production or seasonal demands.

Secondary Responsibilities – Class G Licensed Driver

- Operate a company vehicle to complete scheduled deliveries, transfers, and pickups as assigned.
- Transport products safely between company facilities, retail stores, customers, and suppliers.
- Ensure products are properly loaded, secured, and protected from damage during transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and obtain customer signatures where required.
- Maintain accurate vehicle logs and delivery records.
- Follow all Ministry of Transportation (MTO) regulations, road safety laws, and company driving policies.




- Represent the Company professionally while interacting with customers and vendors.
- Notify management of traffic delays, delivery issues, or customer concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle.

Health & Safety Responsibilities

- Comply with all Company Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with training.
- Report workplace hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses immediately.
- Participate in Health & Safety training and workplace inspections as required.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and quality assurance requirements applicable to beverage manufacturing and distribution.

Qualifications

Education

- High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

- Minimum one (3) year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or order picking experience preferred.
- Experience operating material handling equipment is considered an asset.
- Previous delivery driving experience is an asset.

Licenses & Certifications

- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence with a satisfactory driving record.
- Clean Driver's Abstract required.
- Forklift certification is considered an asset or willingness to obtain certification.
- Ability to meet the Company's driver eligibility requirements.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Bend, twist, squat, kneel, and reach throughout the workday.
- Repetitively lift and move products during order preparation.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.




- Work in warehouse environments with varying temperatures.
- Work outdoors while loading, unloading, or completing deliveries.

Working Conditions

- Warehouse and distribution centre environment.
- Frequent interaction with warehouse, production, and retail teams.
- Occasional operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Occasional local travel to Company retail locations, customers, or suppliers.
- Overtime, weekends, or statutory holidays may be required based on business needs.

Additional Information

The target hiring rate for this position is $20.00 to 21.00 per hour. Placement within our range will be based on factors such as internal equity, market conditions, and the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
