About the Role:

As a Low Voltage Technician, you'll be working with a variety of advanced systems, including:

- Nurse Call Systems
- Wireless and Hardwired Phone Systems
- Patient Wandering Systems
- Wireless Communication Systems
- Access Control
- Public Address and Sound Systems
- Intercom Systems
- Infant Protection Systems
- Security Systems
- CCTV

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, program, maintain, and repair low voltage systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues efficiently.
- Integrate different systems using various communication protocols.
- Collaborate on system design projects as needed.

- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Organize tasks and solve problems creatively.
- Operate and adapt to construction site environments while maintaining safety and professionalism.

Requirements:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and personal transportation.
- Flexibility to work out of town when required.
- Solid communication skills in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience working on construction sites and adapting to their dynamic environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

- C-R Class FSR Ticket or TQ-certified security technician.
- Experience with telephone systems and data communications.
- Familiarity with Nurse Call Systems.

Job Details:

- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay: $24.00 - $45.00 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts with occasional approved overtime, in line with B.C. Employment Standards.
- Location: Richmond, BC (reliable commute or willingness to relocate preferred)
- Work Setting: In-person
