Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

- Greet and seat customers promptly with a positive attitude
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently
- Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are maintained
- Serve food and beverages to guests while providing attentive customer service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, utensils, and service stations
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed, including food handling and sanitation procedures




- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
- Must be 18 years or older (if applicable) and able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings as needed
