Moxies Richmond is looking for an experienced and people-focused Chef to join our leadership team.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead an established culinary team, build on a solid operational foundation and continue developing your career within one of Canada’s leading hospitality brands.

As Chef, you will work closely with the General Manager and regional leadership team to create an engaging kitchen culture, support the growth of your people and deliver the high-quality food and guest experiences Moxies is known for.

We are looking for someone who brings confidence, energy and a genuine passion for leadership. You understand that a successful kitchen is built through strong relationships, clear standards and a team that feels supported and motivated to perform at its best.

What You’ll Do

- Lead, coach and inspire the culinary team.
- Create a positive, inclusive and high-performing kitchen culture.
- Recruit, train and develop team members at every level.
- Oversee food quality, consistency and presentation.
- Maintain strong standards of food safety, cleanliness and organization.
- Support scheduling, inventory and cost-management processes.
- Work alongside the team during service and help create smooth, memorable guest experiences.
- Partner with the General Manager and regional leaders to identify opportunities and continue moving the restaurant forward.

What You Bring

- Culinary leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- A strong understanding of kitchen operations and food preparation.
- A proven ability to coach, motivate and develop a team.
- Confidence leading in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
- Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of food safety,



inventory and cost-control practices.
- A hands-on leadership style and willingness to support the team when needed.
- A desire to continue learning, growing and advancing within Moxies.

Experience as a Chef, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef is an asset. We are also open to meeting experienced culinary leaders who are ready to take the next step in their careers.
