Overview

The Learning Disabilities Association Fraser South is a registered charity that has been serving the communities of Surrey, Delta, White Rock, and Langley since 1979. We are a not-for-profit organization governed by a body of dedicated volunteers (elected annually) and consist of professionals and parents who have a strong connection with learning differences.

We are looking for a friendly, patient, see and do individual to fulfill our roll as a Program Administrative Assistant. You would be working closely with students, parents and tutors to ensure a positive experience . Candidates will be required to obtain a criminal record check and a vulnerable sector check.

You would be responisble for:

- Answering phone calls with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Provide support to the tutors
- Facilitate the entrance of students and return them to their parents safely and with the guidelines directed by our policies (must be able to walk up and down stairs and stand while parents retrieve their children.)




- Work closely with volunteers
- Monitoring emails and responding or forwarding them appropriately
- Maintain general cleanliness and organization of the center/office
- Maintain file systems (both digital and paper) to ensure quick retreival
- Handle administrative tasks including emails, photocopying, scanning, laminating, binding

SKILLS

- Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace tools
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Clerical experience including filing and data entry is ideal.
- Exceptional customer service skills with qualified phone etiquette and the ability to support clients warmly and efficiently.
- Knowledgeof offiice equipment operation such as scanners, copiers, paper cutters, laminators etc.
- Creativity

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
