Martin’s Bus Service is currently seeking a licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician to join our Perth maintenance team. If you’re a skilled mechanic who takes pride in maintaining safe and reliable vehicles, we want to hear from you.

You will play an important role ensuring our school bus fleet operates safely and efficiently for the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on school buses and fleet vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet compliance standards
- Test drive vehicles to verify repairs (valid licence required)
- Respond to road service calls when required




- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records
- Assist with parts ordering and inventory management
- Maintain a clean and safe shop environment
- Provide support to apprentice mechanics when required

Qualifications

- Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician Licence
- 5+ years mechanical experience preferred
- 310S licence considered an asset
- Experience working on school buses or heavy vehicles an asset
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable using basic computer systems and maintenance software

Work Setting

- Location: Perth, Ontario
- Garage/shop setting working on buses and fleet vehicles
- Physical work including lifting, bending, crouching, and working under vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
- Occasional overtime or road service calls
