In this role, you will deliver specialized massage therapy tailored to athletes and active individuals, utilizing your knowledge of sports injuries and recovery techniques. Duties

- Perform targeted sports massage therapies to aid injury recovery, enhance athletic performance, and prevent future issues
- Assess clients’ physical conditions and develop customized treatment plans based on their specific needs and goals
- Use your understanding of medical terminology to accurately document client progress and treatment details
- Communicate clearly with clients about their treatment plans, progress, and recommended exercises or lifestyle adjustments
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional treatment environment adhering to health regulations and hygiene standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively to client concerns and offering supportive guidance throughout sessions




- Keep detailed records of each session, including techniques used, client feedback, and progress notes for ongoing care

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sports therapy massage or related fields with a strong understanding of sports injuries and recovery methods
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to sports injuries and rehabilitation processes
- Excellent communication skills to effectively explain treatments and build rapport with clients
- Solid customer service orientation with the ability to motivate and support clients through their wellness journey
- Certification as a licensed massage therapist with specialization or additional training in sports therapy preferred
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with other health professionals when necessary
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for helping clients achieve their health and performance goals
