Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, payroll/T4 processing for clients, and supporting various accounting functions using industry-standard software (CaseWare, QuickBooks).

Responsibilities

- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients.
- Prepare and file monthly/quarterly HST, WSIB, and Payroll source deductions.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and Corporate Tax Returns (T2).
- Prepare Personal Tax Returns (T1) during the tax season.
- Conduct data entry tasks related to financial transactions and reporting using CaseWare and QuickBooks.




- Process bi-weekly/monthly payroll and T4s for clients.
- Communicate directly and professionally with clients to gather missing information and resolve issues.

Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 2-4 years of experience in Canadian public accounting or full-cycle bookkeeping.
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (CPA designation or working towards it is a strong asset).
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of CaseWare, QuickBooks, and Profile.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English/Korean communication skills with a client-first mindset.
- Location: Ability to reliably commute to our Oakville / Mississauga office.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
