STARTING WAGE: $20.77

Pay Transparency Notice:

This is a unionized position. Compensation is established by the collective agreement. All recent employees start at the applicable entry rate. Prior experience does not alter the starting wage. Wage increases, where applicable, occur in accordance with the collective agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience in large quantity food preparation, preferably in Health Care setting




- Must have leadership ability and be able to direct the dietary department in the absence of the Support Services Manager
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Solid communication skills, basic computer skills
- Proven organizational and time management skills
- General physical wellness, and ability to stand, lift, etc.
- Must be knowledgeable of the Ontario Food premise Regulation, Food Safety Code of Practice and Canada’s Food Guide to Healthy Living
- Must maintain up to date certification in the Food Safety Awareness program offered by Public Health
