Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, handling transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. This role is vital in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests and supporting smooth restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers promptly and courteously at the counter.
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, to process orders and payments efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Ensure all food safety regulations are followed diligently.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues professionally.

Skills

- Experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and sanitation protocols.
- Proficiency with POS systems, especially Micros POS.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Effective cashiering skills with basic math abilities for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently.
- Ability to upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Kitchen experience or familiarity with the food industry is a plus but not required.
