Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, finish work and general construction practices. This role offers opportunities to work on large custom projects. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and using various hand and power tools. A solid understanding of schematics, blueprints, and woodworking is essential to ensure precision and quality in all tasks. This position is vital for the successful completion of construction projects and requires a team-oriented approach with attention to safety and detail.

Duties

- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute construction tasks accurately
- Build, install, and repair structures using carpentry, concrete forming, siding, and woodworking techniques
- Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently for various construction activities
- Utilize hand tools effectively for framing, shaping, and assembly work
- Engage in heavy lifting to move materials safely around the job site




- Maintain a clean and organized work setting to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents during construction activities

Experience

- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on carpentry, concrete forming, or restoration work
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment and power tools in a construction setting
- Knowledge of welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
- Prior experience working with siding installation or woodworking is advantageous
- Strong understanding of safety standards related to construction sites

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
