Responsibilities:

· Following SOP procedures when onboarding new partner carriers that the brokerage department will be working with.

· Negotiate shipping rates with carriers and customers based on market trends and fluctuating costs.

· Ensure sales and revenue targets are being met.

· Managing activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met.

· Review, audit, and approve invoices related to logistics activities.

· Working with Accounting Team to ensure customer invoices are billed correctly to the Customer and any billing discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.

Skills/Qualifications:

· Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment





· Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and supply chain management

· Previous experience in freight brokerage or related field required

· Excellent customer relationship management skills

· Strong negotiation and sales skills

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Troubleshooting, critical thinking and developing outside the box solutions

· Geographical knowledge of North America is an asset

· Knowledge of LoadLink and other load boards

· Team player and can collaborate with other members of our organization

· Works well under pressure
