Holiday Inn Express & Suites Edmonton SW - Windermere is currently looking for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our cleaning team.

The Housekeeping Attendant will be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and public areas, disposing of trash, changing linens and beds, and reporting maintenance concerns to management. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

- Keep guest rooms, facilities, and common areas clean and well maintained
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
- Clean and stock restrooms
- Clean spills using appropriate cleaning equipment
- Report maintenance issues or repairs needed
- Collect and dispose of trash properly
- Assist guests when necessary
- Keep linen rooms organized and stocked
- Properly clean upholstered furniture and room fixtures





Requirements

- Ability to manage time efficiently
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic maintenance and cleaning knowledge
- High school diploma preferred
- Professional appearance and positive attitude when interacting with guests
- Hard-working, reliable, and team-oriented
- Must be flexible to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Experience:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
- Hotel Housekeepers: 1 year (preferred)
