Description:
Burnaby Blacktop Ltd. is currently seeking a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or an experienced Apprentice to join our team at our Burnaby location.

Qualification:
Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or Apprentice with relevant hands-on experience
Solid mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment is an asset
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license
Strong commitment to workplace safety

Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty trucks and equipment
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Troubleshoot mechanical,



hydraulic, and electrical systems
Complete work efficiently while maintaining high safety standards
Keep accurate service and maintenance records
Work collaboratively with shop staff and the operations team
