Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Full Time & Part Time

MPA are proud to be partnered with one of Canada’s largest providers of Nuclear Cardiology services to recruit Nuclear Medicine Technologists to join their multidisciplinary teams in St Catharine's.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for scans and complete patient identification and safety procedures
- Preform Nuclear Medicine procedures independently including radio pharmaceutical preparation, rest and stress MUGAs, rest and stress myocardial perfusion imaging.
- Operate specialised imaging equipment such as Gamma cameras to capture diagnostic images
- Analyse images and data to assist with diagnosis, document findings and prepare reports
- Preform routine checks on imaging equipment and quality control assessments to ensure accurate results and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Adhere to radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:





- Completion of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology training program
- Be registered or eligible for registration with CMRITO
- Knowledge and proficiency of Nuclear Medicine procedure and operating regulations.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
