We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Registered Physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. Duties
- Assess patients’ physical conditions by reviewing medical histories and conducting comprehensive examinations
- Develop and implement tailored physiotherapy treatment plans aligned with patient needs and recovery goals
- Deliver hands-on therapy sessions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses,
and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with healthcare standards
Qualifications
- Valid registration as a Physiotherapist with the appropriate licensing body
- Proven Clinic experience with a focus on acute care settings
- Experience working with concussion patients and pelvic floor physiotherapist is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate patients of all ages
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
