Sunrise Pet Hospital is a growing, family-owned veterinary hospital in East Vancouver dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets and the people who love them.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant / Client Care Representative to join our team.

Veterinary experience is an asset but is not required for the right candidate. We are happy to train someone with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and a genuine love for animals and people.

As a smaller independent practice, every team member plays an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and supportive experience for our patients and clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Assisting veterinarians during appointments and treatments
- Animal restraint and patient care
- Preparing examination rooms and treatment areas
- Assisting with laboratory samples and diagnostics
- Assisting with radiographs and procedures
- Monitoring hospitalized patients
- Answering phones and booking appointments
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital
- Providing exceptional client service and support
- Supporting the team wherever needed to ensure smooth daily operations

Experience in any of the following is considered an asset:

- Veterinary clinics or animal hospitals
- Animal handling or patient care
- Reception or customer service
- Boarding or grooming facilities
- Pet care industries

Compensation is $18.50–$21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with a performance review after 90 days.
