We are seeking a friendly and organized Customer Service Associate/Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, managing transactions accurately, and supporting sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for creating positive shopping experiences. Bilingual abilities and experience in technology sales or product demos are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop retail and sales skills in a dynamic setting.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
- Manage cashiering duties including processing payments, issuing receipts, and balancing registers at shift end
- Provide product demonstrations and upsell items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
- Maintain merchandising standards on the sales floor, including stock replenishment and organization
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally,



escalating issues when necessary
- Utilize communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new products, and store policies
- Support team members with time management tasks to ensure smooth store operations during shifts
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries

Experience

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Bilingual skills (English and additional languages) are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math is advantageous
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, or technical sales can enhance performance in this role
- Strong organizational skills, communication abilities, and time management are essential for success
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and courtesy

Pay: $17.60 per hour
