Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide patient care including medication administration, wound care, and health monitoring
- Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support clients with household chores like cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a secure living environment
- Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when required, ensuring safety at all times




- Document care activities accurately and communicate any changes in health or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals

Experience

- Previous assisted living or home care experience is highly desirable
- Familiarity with patient care techniques, nursing procedures, and medication management
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia, or in hospice care settings is advantageous
- Knowledge of senior care practices and caregiving responsibilities in diverse environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining client dignity and comfort
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance, or related fields is a plus
