McLaughlin Truss is currently looking for a Lead Structural (Panel) Designer to join our team. This position is located in Fredericton NB. McLaughlin Truss is a manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of pre-engineered structural systems for commercial and residential construction projects in Atlantic Canada and New England States.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Prepare floor, roof and panel estimates/quotes for residential and commercial projects using Mitek Structure
- Prepare shop ready floor, roof & panel files
- Prepare engineered drawings, layouts and job site packages for site/customer use
- Work directly with the production team to ensure a safe and efficient build process
- Ensure that products maximize customer satisfaction and on-site efficiency during and after construction.
- Provide customer service to contractors and customers

Qualifications:

- 3 to 5 years of roof,



floor and panel design experience (Preferably Mitek Structure)
- CET designation or Engineering degree considered an asset
- Able to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Robust attention to detail and able to work independently
- Effective problem solving, self-motivated and time management skills
- Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
