About Alberta AG Centre

Hours & Duration
- Immediate start through Harvest (mid-October); temporary, full time seasonal
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1‑hour unpaid lunch)
About the Role
A flexible, floor-support role created to cover peak Harvest demand at the Dunmore location. The person in this role moves between tasks as directed, helping keep parts, service, and the front counter running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Run parts as directed,
freeing up counter staff for customer-facing work
- Perform basic cleaning/wipe-down of machinery when requested
- General shop upkeep, including sweeping and tidying work areas
- Cover the front counter to answer phones, greet walk-ins, and provide basic assistance
Physical Requirements
- Standing or walking for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Comfortable multitasking and shifting priorities based on daily guidance
- Basic customer service ability — professional, friendly phone and in-person manner
- General mechanical/shop awareness
- Reliable and takes direction well; willing to pitch in wherever needed
- Physically able to move around the shop floor and lift/carry parts as required up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- Valid driver's license (Class 5), reliable transportation to Dunmore location
- Comfortable working around mechanical equipment and shop machinery
- Solid phone and customer service etiquette
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Self-starter, team-oriented, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable multitasking and shifting between physical labor, counter coverage, and cleaning duties with minimal direction once trained
Preferred (not required)
- Familiarity with basic hand tools or shop equipment
- Experience working a front counter or reception role
- Ag or farm background
