Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness in the café, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your role will be essential in creating memorable experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Operate the espresso machine and other equipment efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including the café seating area, equipment, and utensils to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, including pastries and light snacks.




- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and support each other during peak hours.

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is preferred but not required; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when needed.
